This catalog introduces the work of two young artists of decidedly different artistic profiles, reflecting the influence of their teachers at the academies where they studied. Ye Nan studied under Qiu Zhijie at the China Academy of Art, Hangzhou while Yuan Yuan was taught by the distinguished figurative painter Yu Hong.
