Hermès has commissioned Chinese artist Wu Jian’an to create its summer window display entitled “The Myths of Innovation”. Resonating with Hermès’ 2020 theme “Innovation in the Making”, the artist links the past with the future and lets the audience’s imagination run free.
In this installation, Wu uses luxuriant colours and artistic expressions to give myths new meanings. In the new windows, Hermès objects are brought to life in a surprising and imaginative way, creating an environment where imagination and reality overlap and opening a dialogue about the past and future.
